“I almost turned back. But I didn’t. I thought of my father and I started pedaling away, and I gained momentum and knew I would go, nothing would stop me, nothing." (p. 5)

Review:
14-year-old Adam Farmer sets out on a bike journey find his father. On his way he remembers how his life had recently been turned upside-down with the surprising discovery that he wasn’t quite who he thought he was and that his parents had been keeping secrets from him. But there is one secret that is just out of his reach. A secret that, for his sake, is best left unknown.
This was an interesting story with a surprise twist. Readers will enjoy trying to piece together the parts of the puzzle and trying to figure out the secret. Readers will be able to sympathize with Adam’s search for identity and the ending will be a surprise to most.
